we all love our DHs - thats for sure!! but everyone needs 'me' time once in a while... time to just be by ourselves and do whatever we want
so here is the Q of the D.....

I love going to the beach by myself (obviously in warmer weather…lol) On weekends I do this a lot during the summer when DH is at work In winter months I love spending the day going shopping, and going tor a mani and a pedi. My biggest issue is time. I am always rushing around to do something so on a day where I have no worries and no time constraints I am very happy!

I get enough 'me' time right now due to our schedules, so I can't complain about that. My favorite is relaxing on the computer (mostly on LIW). I also like to workout when I have the house to myself. If DH is home, I just won't get on the treadmill. lol. My other fav is to sit outside (when it's warm) and read a book.
But since i already DO have enough of that going on, what I really miss is 'Girl Time'. Living in Co with Dh and his family gets lonely because i still haven't really met anybody. So I'm dying for a girls day out - to go shopping (i hate doing it alone, and shopping with DH is awkward. lol), or go to a chick flick (I feel bad dragging Dh to things like that even tho he'll go without complaint ...most times). That's what I really miss!!!!

I haven't me time in awhile because my dog needs attention. I'll try to watch tv and his toy will end up under the couch and he scratches at the couch until someone gets it. It's quite annoying But otherwise it's going to the beach in the summer, catching up on my DVR'd shows or reading.

Make a cup of tea, snuggle on the couch and read a really good book - maybe have some cookies or chocolate handy too.

I love catching up on my DVR! When we got back from vacation, DH went back to work but I had a few days off.
I watched 7 episoes of General Hospital, 7 episodes of Oprah and at least 2 episodes of all of my other shows all back to back and cleaned out my queue it was great!
If I am all caught up on my TV, I enjoy reading something on my Kindle!
Same here, I catch up on General! Once in awhile, I like to enjoy a little get-away at the spa! That's not something he likes to do.

Just being home alone watching my girly tv shows makes me a happy person.
Someone else also mentioned driving around in their car with the music turned up... I love doing that!

i also love pedis.... sometimes i'll splurge and get a SPA pedi which is like 45 mins long
but usually i'm just hanging around the house NOT cleaning or doing laundry haha
