starting to pack

well DH has been packing up the apt. and im not going to lie, im kinda sad when i see it all looking empty!
i get very attached to things and for the past year that lil apt has been our home! and it was also our first place living together so its got a lot of meaning to me!
Dh keeps saying 'but we have a house, this was just a stoping point' and dont get me wrong im sure as soon as we get to the house im going to be gaga over the place.

im just going to miss our little apt on Lamplighter Ln. or as we call it Lamplicker Ln. and the town!

I know the feeling. We'll be in our apartment for 2 years when we move this summer. I'll definitely be crying!

You're going to create so many more great memories in your new place... the place you can finally call your own...

i know how you must feel... just the thought of me moving makes me INCREDIBLY sad... this apartment i'm in is my very first apartment on my own, i've been here for a LONG LONG time (many many moons) and there's so much of me wrapped up in these walls...

BUT once it's time to move, i guess you have to remember it's just a place and that your new home will feel like HOME in no time. but i totally relate! just think of all the new and happy memories you'll create in your new place!!!

You can always take a picture of the apartment (or a few) and get a nice frame to hang in your new home as a reminder of your first place together.
