stay at home wife?

i hate being a 'stay at home wife' (temporarily) i only work 4 days a week for a few hours a day.. while im job hunting so i have the responsibilities of cooking cleaning and laundry..and i absolutely HATE IT... im constantly finding other things to do (like sit here and chat with you ladies) then do what i should.. i know its only fair since DH is working.. but i cant get a job fast enough so i dont have to do it all! (sorry i wanted to use the popcorn guy!)

i wish I was a stay at home wife sometimes. I work full time plus cook , clean , and do the laundry, etc. Not having to go to work would at least leave me some time for TV.

i really shouldnt complain... but i love what i do and hate that im not doing it! When the both of us are workign we split the domestic stuff.. but like i said its only fair that i do it now since im home

Sometimes I wish I was...but then I remember when I didnt have a job for 4 months and Im just fine getting up and coming to work
I remember I LOVED it for about a month-I could do whatever I wanted, go anywhere whenever I wanted, etc. but I hated doing laundry, cleaning, cooking blah blah blah.....so I prefer to work.

me too. at the very least i wish i could 1. get home in time to cook dinner and 2. never have to wash white tshirts

ITA as well. I need more time to get the work down at home. I hate not being on top of my work at home. I love a nice clean house, but it's so hard to keep up with when I am working.

I know what you mean. I had no choice in quitting my job the end of may due to stress (DH's decision) and decided to take a month off to get better then look for something else. Let's just say I am bored as anything while looking for a job. I clean then try to find something else. Lucky I am getting a pool in Monday then I have something to relax in when I get bored and stressed. I don't know how wives without children make it as stay at home wives in the beginning I so want to go back to work now and it only been 6 weeks.
