STEAKS!

How do you cook yours? and what do you marinate it with?

I have a good rib eye bone in piece...wondering what to do with it....If its a good steak can salt and pepper suffice...or do u marinate it overnight..

if it's a good steak, i skip the marinade. sometimes a marinade can ruin a good steak.

i salt and pepper, and then either grill or broil

another way i cook steak - i saute shallots (you could use onions instead) in balsamic vinegar, then cook the steaks in the pan with the sauce once those are all nicely sauteed. pour the balsamic and shallots over the steaks

ooh my dad's friend has the best marinade and I use it all the time...

I stab the steak with a fork and then sprinkle sugar on top of the steak coating it. Then I pour some red wine over it and then Worcestershire sauce. Then I let it soak, flip it and do it again. It comes out so good, sweet but without taking away the taste of the meat.

We usually cook it on the grill. If DH isn't home or in cold winter I will broil it.

I'll marinate flank steaks but for better cuts like shell steak / rib eye / filet mignon I just do salt and pepper and brush on a little olive oil to prevent from sticking to the grill.

I like the powder Weber marinades that come in the packets where you add water / oil and let it sit.

Love Lawry's Steak and Chop marinade! For chicken, we like to use lawry's herb and garlic
