Re: STEF, MARTHA STEWART THE MOVIE

Forget the movie, Im reading the biography the movie was based on!!!

I am such a Martha file and I still am in awe of what she did with her life ... but if what the book says about her true - she is a total BEYOTCH!

Re: STEF, MARTHA STEWART THE MOVIE

I just applied for a job at Martha Stewart Omnimedia! After hearing/reading about her, I'm not sure I'll even go interview if called!

Re: STEF, MARTHA STEWART THE MOVIE

I have a feeling that she doesn't deal with each employee. Her company is pretty big. So unless you are cooking for her show or preparing photos for her books she probably deals with management and not the 'every day' people who work there.

Re: STEF, MARTHA STEWART THE MOVIE

Mistyeyed,
My FH just said MS Omnimedia is a great place to work if you like cults. As he put it 'They're all believers.' (He used to deal with them often b/c he manufactured Martha Stewart's dinnerware/cutlery for Kmart.)

Re: STEF, MARTHA STEWART THE MOVIE

I didn't think she dealt with each employee, I was referring to a general consenus re: the attitudes of people that work there. It's the trickle down theory of most corporations. If you have an ******* at the helm, odds are everyone suffers from top down, and my investigating has proven this correct. I wasn't expecting to be working for Martha. I'm not exactly her biggest fan, I wasn't doing this because I thought it would be 'cool' to work for her.

I applied for a associate position in new media/Weddings, it's a pretty low on the totem pole job, and I did it out of curiousity....I'm in the market for a switch in fields, and I saw it and applied.
