We had our Love Story Video played during dinner!! It was about a 15 minute video that we made about a month before the wedding,,,everyone was crying,,,it was very sweet and a ton of people told me that it made our wedding totally stand out from the rest!!!

Our bridal party announcements recorded by the legendary Yankees Public Address Announcer, Bob Sheppard. I guess our whole theme was pretty unique but I would imagine the announcements certainly stood out the most - at least to those who know of the guy!

Our wedding was very cultural.....a true Jewish wedding. A lot of very sentimental things....my DH tallis from childhood was used as our chuppah, a 50 minute hora, every Jewish tradition imaginable was incorporated into our ceremony.....Our band was amazing...'the Shalom Orchestra' and people are still talking about it. NOBODY SAT the entire reception.....everyone danced the entire time'
.It was also a city wedding which I think is pretty unique.

I'd have to say the butterfly release. The guests loved it (many never heard of it), and it's def different than throwing rose petals, or rice. I know other brides have has this as well but not many. Flowerfield said they have on average 1-2 a year!


The 1st pic is of a guest releasing one of the butterflies and in the 2nd pic a butterfly landed on my bo-k.

elvis showed up at our wedding as a total surprise and during our cocktail hour and a half, we had an oldies group singing live

it was very casual..we had a clam bake with full lobsters..and i pretty much made everything for it.....DH's uncle said they just went to some fancy $200,000 wedding but it still didn't compare to ours...when we asked him why, he said it was all the personal touches i made for it...that made me really happy (especially since our wedding was no way near a $200k!!! haha)...oh and we did a fun, non-traditional first dance...

i think the perimeter lighting we had---it made SUCH an awesome difference---mixed with the percussionist and DJ --all of it combined for an outrageous party. people said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to

at our ceremony we did the hands prayer and at the reception we had a live percussionist and sax player in addition to our DJ.

We had a couple of things. We had the fire department stand honor guard so after we were declared husband and wife and we walked down the aisle, we went under the axes and poles. We had a percussionist in addition to our DJ. We also had an 8x8 screen in a 10x10 truss with special lighting. They played the music videos for some of the songs, live feed of everyone dancing, and our photo montage during dinner. It was really cool. Oh, and DH drove up to the hall in his fire truck, lights and sirens, scaring the heck out of everyone at LM.

We had a Spanish classical guitarist at our CH. Also, we had Irish Step Dancers at our Reception, as a surprise from me to my DH. Everyone loved them! They rocked!

We took dance lessons, and we practiced dancing to our second song. So we danced to the whole song by ourselves - without inviting anyone on the dancefloor. I had my mom crying bc she was so happy and the look on her face was priceless!!!!

Also - I made sure everything matched. My monogram was on everything, and I even had custom-made candles on every table that were aqua, ivory and gold! It cost alot - but was sooo worth it!

We had the fire truck thing as well, and people loved it!

Also, we had a guitarist/singer and singer for CH that people were raving about...

Hmmm....how about my custom tissue boxes in the bathroom- thats pretty different

I surprised DH and recorded a version of our wedding song, 'I have and I always will' by Dave Barnes. My sis' bf is a musician so he helped me out and I had them play it for our first dance. He loved it and everyone else thought it was really unique.
