our ceremony on the beach and the msgr asked we write essays as to why FH and why me? he read them during the ceremony and it made it so special for us..
my mom designed my FG dresses and somewhat custom made my dress..

Personalized bobble-head cake topper. Very unique - and it was a huge hit!!!

I HAD A VINTAGE PHOTOBOOTH....GUESTS GOT A STRIP OF 4 DIFFERENT PICS TO TAKE HOME,,,,AND THE OTHER STRIP WENT IN A GUEST BOOK WHERE EVERYONE SIGNED AND GAVE ADVICE....ITS HILARIOUS TO LOOK AT BC EVERYONE DID CRAZY FACES,,,,I ALSO HAD THE VALET GUYS PUT PERSONALIZED AIR FRESHNERS IN EVERYONES CAR BEFORE THEY DROVE HOME....AND I HAD PERSONALIZED BAKERY BOXES SO PEOPLE COULD TAKE HOME DESSERT FROM VIENESSE HOUR....WE ALSO HAD ITALIAN ICES AND HOT PREZETELS OUTSIDE THE HALL FOR GUEST WHILE THEY WERE WAITING FOR THEIR CARS...SO THE GUESTS GOT TO TAKE HOME A LOT OF STUFF PLUS THE FAVOR...

We didn't have our wedding in a typical reception hall. Instead we rented a historic ballroom and basically did everything ourselves. We hired a deli for a buffet dinner and a friend of mine baked all of the desserts. Everyone loved the building, and who doesn't love home made chocolate chip cookies?

We had DH fire department stand honor gaurd at the church, they also brought DH's tower ladder

We also had the entire pipe and drum band DH belongs to (all 30 of them) come and play during the reception, our guests are still talking about how good they were.

my dad surprised me and hired my violin teacher (who i studied with for 6+ yrs growing up) to play for the ceremony.

also, my MOH made all of the jewelery for the girls and it went perfectly with their dresses

and DH and I had cookbook printed as favors. HUGE hit. people love his guacamole recipe, it seems.
