strange laundry question..

strange laundry question..

ok so you know ow you wash towels seperate..well when u have white towels do you put them with the whites or do you ut them with the other towels

just curious cause my sister and i do it diffrent and maybe i am doing it wrong

Check the labels on the white towels. It may say 'Do not bleach'.

haha okay. im not the only one! I dont have any white towels..but my towels get thrown in with the rest of my light colored wash.
It's just the 2 of us and it would be silly to run half a full load of laundry to wash the towels alone!

I dont separate my towels unless my whites or colors are too big and then I will do a towels only. I only wash my white towels with other towels if those other towels have been washed a few times to make sure the colors wont run.

I put my white towels in with colored towels, and I haven't had any issues. This is when I do them though. For the past month or so DH has been dropping off our towels for his mom to do for us, because when we would go for laundry day we'd be there till midnight and it was getting ridiculous. I know she does them separately, but she asked me what my preference was and I told her to please just through them all in and save my detergent lol.

And as an aside, white towels are awful when you have an old nasty sink that has rust around the edging. They're all destroyed now anyways, so it really doesn't matter how I wash them!

I do colored towels seperate and white ones with the whites because we dont have many of them.

i threw out all dark colored towels and all FLUFFY towels. i like the thin rough towels..

i wash them alll together.

most red towels should go separate.
the rest you can throw in together with anything else. it's not that big of a deal. unless you have bleach and no bleach then separate them.

I dont think it matters. if you towels are coming out clean and they smell good... then you are doing it right!!!

My bathroom towels are white and pink and i wash them together. But the old bathroom towels from DH's house that has become Candy's towels and for misc use, (Blue and yellow) I wash separate from my bath towels. I put pool towels in separate from my shower towels as well.
