strapless dresses in church (st. Josephs, Ronk.)

Ok so my dress that i odered is strapless like so many of us are. I showed my BM my dress (she is extremely religious, for her wedding she turned down the dress of her dreams cause it showed too much shoulder, and her mom said it was inappropriate) and she was like well do u have a shall to wap around your shoulders??? Im getting married July 30th its gonna be hot i dont want to wear one. The instruction/rules my church gave me say nothng of the sort. WHat did you guys find??? Id appreciate any help

I'm pretty sure that the answer to your question varies from parish to parish, so you really should ask the person who is performing your ceremony.

I wore spaghetti straps and a 'kinda-sorta' low sweetheart neckline and my church was okay with it.

I got married at a RC Church and wore a strapless dress and there wa no problem. I didn't have to wear a blusher either.

I got married at St. Agnes Cathedral (the Diocese of RVC Cathedral where the Bishop sits) and I wore a strapless dress, as did my 6 BM's. But I would ask your church anyway.

My church never inquired about what my dress looked like, so if they don't ask, why volunteer?

This is your wedding dress, not your friend's dress. If the church has no problem with you having a strapless dress, then that should be the end of it.
