This is a very touchy subject for me ... suffice it to say that yes, I have loans and I am paying them off by myself ... no one paid for any part of my college education but me.
i was very fortunate to recieve a full-ride scholarship for undergrad. and my employer paid for my graduate school. so thankfully no loans here! mortgage will be first major debt

amen, sistah! i'm in the same boat as you.
i was able to make it through 4.5 years of college with no student loans. i am so so lucky to have had that opportunity. it makes me feel a little better, bc i am not doing anything related to my degree.
