Dh is concerned that if we take a cruise when we get to the ports and get off are we going to have to buy lunch on the island or can we go back on the ship and eat...................just DH being cheap as usual! Anyone know the answer to this?

you can get off and on the ship as much as you'd like!
ETA: We never ate in port...we came back to the boat and eat lunch and dinner...we loved the food on the cruise

You could def go back on the boat! We did that a few days, depending on where we were. (ie: when we went to Greece we decided to eat dessert crepes at a cafe for lunch because we could not resist!)

NICE!!!! I've only been on the one cruise but Brad is a cruise snot and I know he would say to look at Norwegian or Celebrity and the Carnival wasn't that great. I thought it was super though lol

The Norwegian one is a 7 day Bahama/Florida cruise out of NY. Its about 200 cheaper so of course Eric is leaning towards that one!

You can get on and off as many time as you want just make sure you bring your passport with you we had to show it everytime we came back on.

Also if you do an excursion at the port lunch is sometimes included in the excursion cost!!!!

most of the excursions include lunch! Really tho, cruises are SOOOO MUCH FUN!! so much to do!!
