Recently I found out that I have a lurker that reads what I post on LIW and apparently conveys this information to people that are close to me. Recently, this caused some drama.

I sincerely hope this lurker is reading this because I have a message for your dumbass* :

omg same thing happened to me.

not that i'm ashamed of what i post or whatever- i could care less and anything i say is honestly how i feel but that happened to me like a year ago. i did just what you did- i came on here, knowing they would see it and basically told them they were acting like children and said how i felt-- that how could anyone be so cruel for NO reason?? so odd. and even today- what i write is prob seen by them and i hope it is! they should be ashamed of how mean they are.

for vin and i though, it worked out b/c they were people who were nothing but a negative presence in our lives... shutting them out of our lives was the BEST thing i have ever done and we live such a positive, happy and bitter free lifestyle now. they were always so negative and brought people 'down'.

the other problem was-- for my family-- it was like, EXHAUSTING trying to maintain a relationship with them b/c they never showed any interest in it. for us, we now know, you can't choose family- you can only choose friends... we are lucky to have the people in our life who are great and we take the good with the bad.

i don't know if it is someone related to you or not but either way-- it's hard... but you are probably better off Xing any of those who look to hurt you, make you feel bad or bring you down from your life... don't ever allow anyone to mistreat you!

Take it from me-- it will be the best thing you could do for yourself.

omg i have a lurker too!!!! it's our ex best man that decided he didn't want to be our best man anymore. but yet, he comes on here to find out about mine and DH's lives. it's funny b/c he's a guy AND he's no where near getting married!!! so i don't even know why he's on this site.

btw, this is DH's brother...that DIDN'T come to our wedding!

Ouch sorry you ahd to deal with that! Thankfully I don't have one (or just don't know it yet) but like everyone said I try not to post anything that I wouldn't want anyone to read.

I'm sorry that it's caused you drama, maybe (if you can) cutting them out would be the best thing to do.

It's not a big deal....but it's just a really stupid situation when someone I know tells me that that they heard from the lurker that I posted something 6 MONTHS ago. I stand behind whatever I post because whatever I posted at that time was what I was feeling....but it's just a little strange to have someone be reading things I wrote 6 MONTHS ago!!!

This person really has no life - it's obvious. I sincerely hope my lurker finds more productive things to do with all of their time

I feel pathetic still being on this site even though my wedding is long over. How the heck does a stalker explain finding out about you without sounding pathetic 'I was stalking Ev on a wedding related website....... People like that make me feel really good about myself.

That is ridiculous. On the other hand asmuch as this feels like our own little worls, it isn't anyone at anytime can see these posts. So be careful what you write.

i am sorry you had to deal with this... and i am glad that you are strong enough to shrug it off! i agree, i never post anything on here that i do not stand behind 100%. if i had a lurker who 'told' on me, i want to know that i believe in what i write/wrote, so that i am able to stand up for myself.

and to your stalker: leave our ev alone!!
