stupid in laws...

So, MIL was complaining to DH last night that her family has their panties all in a twist because they haven't gotten their thank you's yet.

Well, excuse me if I live 400 miles away from the photographer... And excuse me if I started my first teaching job a week after the wedding and have been working 50-60 hours a week since.

Yes, it's been 4 months, and I would have liked to ge them out sooner, but i'm so dang busy! Arg! I don't want to spend the 2 hours I'm at home at night not cooking, cleaning or grading papers writing out thank you cards.

You'll get them before my one year grace period is up.

would you believe that my MIL made a comment how people were waiting for TY's from my wedding?! she made a comment before it was even a MONTH after the wedding!

I just finished my thank yous (I moved to another part of the country after the wedding!) and made sure to send one to my MIL and GrandmotherIL IMMEDIATELY after we got them reproduced. There were 'side comments' made at the three month mark that pissed me off. You are not alone!
