stupid question- cleaning silverware

i know this is stupid, but ive noticed that when i get home from work, the spoon i used to stir my coffee in the morning, that ive left in the sink all day, has a little circle in the dip of the spoon. i scrub the stupid things, but that little outline never goes away!

any suggestions?

the silverware is regular stainless steel, 18/10...

im afraid that if i ask my mom, she'll make fun of me- haha

Don't just leave it in the sink. Instead when you're done with your coffee cup fill it with water and stick the spoon (and any other dirty silverware) in there for the day. Then when you're ready to do the dishes it'll be much easier to clean!!

yea, I agree. Any stain will stay if it sits. I would wash it as soon as you are done. Just rinse it under water for a second.

lol- ive learned quickly about the 'drown everything in a large glass of soapy water until i come home' trick... i just cant get that Stupid ring off the 1 damn spoon... poor thing will have to live with just being the Official Coffee Spoon :)
