DH and I live in Flushing but tonight I'm taking him out to celebrate him passing his test. He HATES Queens so LI would be better, unless someone comes up with something out of this world LOL!I just want tonight to be special for him, pricing matters but not really, just don't let me break the bank, I'm throwing him a surprise party in March for this so I don't want to go too crazy.
Suggestions please?
TIA!

He's a true Italian but I call him the goat because he'll pretty much eat anything, Italian, American, Seafood, Chinese, etc.

If he loves everything take him to the International Buffet in Garden City. Its mostly chinese...my DH LOVES it so much. I personally hate it cuz I hate chiense but the dessert bar is awesome.

Oevo Ristorante on Northern Blvd. It's just west of Leonard's on the opposite side. It's soooooo yummy! I had our RD there and we were so happy with the food and the service.

Vincents is a nice way to go, Houston's by Roosevelt Field, or a steak house. I know DH loves when I surprise him with a dinner at Burton & Doyles
