Just curious if your family had any summer traditions? Either traveling or runions and what not?
In my family we usually had a family reunion and my mother would take us every year to Great Adventure and Splish Splash

My family goes to the same place in New Hampshire every summer (i only make it now & then)...now my brother, his wife & kids go every year as well as my parents & other bro...and the most ironic thing is that his wife & her family always went to the same place in NH every year too..around the same time of year! So now it's alot bigger...nice to melt the 2 families together!

Every Summer for the past 35 years my mom's side of the family has held a Family Reunion up in Maine. It's always the first Sunday in Aug. We have a memorial mass for all of our family members who have passed away the night before the reunion.
