Sunday NW QOTD

HAPPY SUNDAY LADIES..it seems just a weeeee bit warmer then the last two days...thankfully! hope everyones staying warm

so today's question of the day is

what are some of your's and DH favorites things to do during the summer????

STAY WARM...SPRING OFFICIALLY STARTS IN 47 days and SUMMER 140!!!

Oh I like this question! Dh plays softball every Sunday and I generally like to watch as long as I don't have my own things to do. We love to have bbqs - either with friends or just the two of us. We love to watch our dog go nuts outside. We also take him to the dog park a lot more frequently. Dh loves loves loves driving with the windows and sunroof open - I hate it - but occasionally I indulge him (with my hair whipping everywhere!)

Good question Colleen - it made me think I was out of the 20 degree weather for just a second!

We are the opposite of everyone else I think ... during the summer we tend to hibernate indoors with our A/C on full blast ... we HATE SUMMER! Blech.

we try to go to the beach at least once a week, bring the coolers, and snacks and umbrellas and literally VEG all day until its getting dark. DH sits under the umbrella while i ROAST in the sun.

We also try to have a few parties, we love to entertain and what better way in 90 degrees and dark! :)

Every day after work last year we'd go for like a 2 mile walk... of course that was bc we were trying to lose weight for the wedding but it was really nice and I def want to keep doing that when it gets warmer!

DH is usually on either a baseball and/or a softball team, so part of every weekend is spent with that.

I feel like we missed so much of last summer since we were running around doing wedding things for most of it... it'll be nice to have a relaxing summer this year!

Oooooh I like this question!!!! And I totally need to start a countdown to Spring... it's my favorite season!

Well, I like to go to baseball games. DH does not. DH likes to go out and take photographs when it's nice out.

We like to take long car rides, and I like to stop to explore things while he stops to take photos.

We both like being outdoors (although I hate hate hate mosquitos).

I like to ride my bike while he likes to run (since he's fast and I'm slow, this works out great!).

DH plays on 2 softball teams and loves to play golf on Sundays. I love to go to the beach. We are so excited to spend the first summer in our house and plan on bbq-ing every night!

we like having BBQ's we used our new bbq.. last summer and we grilled everything!!

we might actually use it again soon!!

we also like walking on the boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ and going on other vacations!!!

we love love love to BBQ every night , talk about our day after work and then go for a walk after dinner

on the weekends bbq, beer, cornhole, wiffle ball, and good friends all summer long , we LOVE to HOST more than life itself

Our favorite thing to do in the summer is bbq on the beach in the evening! I don't know what we're going to do now though, since we used to go to West Meadow in Old Field, and now we have no reason to really go out there anymore, bah!

TRY to go to the beach, ride his motorcycle, take long walks with our dogs and look at house, go to anyone's BBq since we dont have one and we try to do our annual trip to Splish Splash.

Well we just moved to a place with a pool so this summer we plan on BBQ'in and swimming every weekend!!! That and I really want to take up biking since we moved to a place with such amazing trails.

We love to take our boat out, have BBQ's either at the beach, our house, or friends houses, and we love taking walks to get Ralph's italian ices which is right by our house!

I wish it was summer!!

BOATING! We love cruising around on the boat, anchoring to other boats and enjoying the day, taking the boat to dinner.

Here we go to Fire Island all the time. Our boat is in my parents backyard so we hop on and head over for dinner or drinks. We like Flynns and Ocean Beach.

At the NJ Shore we like to take the boat over to Martell's Tiki Bar and spend the night drinking and partying. Its great because its right across the bay, so if you had to you could paddle home, LOL!

I also go to the NJ Shore where I love sitting on the porch and just read or chill out. I also love to hit the NJ Shore Boardwalk for Pizza, junk-food, and Candy Wheels. Favorite hot spots are the Saw Mill and Beachcomber (where Snookie got punched out.)
