Support Autism Awareness

I am participating in the the AutismSpeaks 2008 Walk Now for Autism on October 5th at Jones Beach. I am raising funds with my school to help search for a cause for Autism. Autism effects 1 in every 150 children and is more dominant in boys. If you can donate anything, $5, $10, $15 or more, it would be greatly appreciated! Every little bit could help the life of a child.

Many of these children go through everyday without being able to communicate what they want or need. Some can never tell their mother that they love them. Other children learn to function in society and grow up to live very functional lives. Any little bit you can donate will be greatly appreciated. Follow the link below to donate!!

Thanks for posting this! I can't walk this year since it is my nephew's birthday party but I try to donate every year!

Thanks for posting. Dh and I always donate and will donate again! I also emailed the link to all of my friends and family

I did the walk in June at the SouthStreet Seaport. The walk was very short (I guess because of the children walking). Its not too late to register. Support the cause.
