surprise coming my way... UPDATED!!!!
Okay, so the other night DH told me that he got me a really good Valentines Gift this year. I thought that was so sweet! I don't really count v-day as a 'real gift' holiday, so i would never expect more than flowers & a nice card (maybe some chocolate too). So at the time, i thought that maybe that was what he was talking about.
But then tonight, he just seemed sooo excited about this gift! He told me that it's the best thing he has ever gotten me (besides the engagement ring, of course). And that i'll be getting it on Sunday. I questioned WHY he's waiting until Sunday when Valentine's is on SATURDAY. He told me that there was a delay in plans - but I'm gonna love where he's taking me. And that there's no way I can possibly guess what it is. Hmmm. Where he's TAKING me? We've already got SUCH a big weekend planned. We're traveling pretty far on Saturday afternoon - going to an acquarium & then a fancy dinner theatre that evening, and staying in a hotel that night. So that's already more than enough. I'm soooo curious!!!!!
Usually I'm good at guessing what's going on, but I feel kind of stumped. And you know how surprises go - you want to figure it out JUST AS MUCH as you want to actually be surprised. lol. So i'm not sure if I should really keep investigating![]()
This is making me CRAZY!!!!

So tonight he just couldn't wait any longer, and he let the surprise out. lol. He's actually getting me my PUPPY on Sunday!!! THAT'S THE SURPRISE! When I left New York a month ago, I couldn't take my dog with me. He's an adorable Cairn Terrier and I love him to bits. I've been feeling a little homesick lately and wanting to get him here, but I figured it would take awhile for my family to do it (they procrastinate). Well - DH felt bad about that and immediately began working on plans to fly him out. Ahhhh!!! That is so sweet of him! It really made my night. I'm gonna be so excited all weekend. So that's where he was going to be TAKING me - to the airport to pick him up![]()
Man, i've got such a good husband! He makes me so happy. Aww. I can't even handle it. That's a GOOD Valentine's Present!![]()
