Did anyone get a present they didn't register for and turned out to be pretty useful??
for me it would be my pasta bowl set. I didn't know I needed them and they sure do come in handy..

One of my co-workers was getting married and she had a lot of really beautiful things on her registry, but we decided to get her a video camera. She always says that it was her favorite shower gift.

someone gave me a crystal thing. we thought it was an ice bucket,,,,,but we weren't sure. We looked it up online to learn that it was a utensil holder. I feel very rich having a crystal kitchen utensil holder......it looks fabulous on our counter. I love it!
