Did anyone have the photograher take pictures of the guests at their tables? That was the one thing I forgot to tell him to do.

We just got a shot of my Dad's table and my IL's table. I have both proofs but decided against using them in the album because my Dad's home health aid didn't get up from the table and is in the shot and my IL's table... well, you'd have to see it...

Just got shots of both of our parents tables which was fine... some other ones from table cameras too.

We got shots of just the first 2 tables. Our photographer got shots of almost every guest whether they were dancing or at the bar. These shots will not go in my album but will stay in my proof album.

Yes, we got pictures of 90% of the tables. I guess the others were on the dance floor most of the time

My photographer did the 1st two tables. I wanted to ask him to do 2 more but I forgot. The other 2 tables had all of our sibling and first cousins. Oh well...

Our Photographer charged an extra $200 for shots of ALL the tables, and they explained that the Table shots are a big pain in the butt for the photog. The reason why is because it's difficult to get everyone at the table together without necessarily interrupting dinner, and that takes the photographer's attention away from the other important things like candids of your guests dancing and whatnot.
They did, however, say that we could request table shots of certain tables, so we did. Evil Photographer Woman didn't even attempt to get all the shots we asked her for in this case. She took a picture of my parents' table, and my ILs' table, but not of the tables of FIL's side, or of either table of my extended families.

thats crazy that they wanted to charge you extra!

I didn't ask for them...it would have been nice, but I'm not really that regretful either. I have MOST of my guests in candid shots, so that's fine with us.

He took pictures of all the tables, which was really nice, but i didnt even remember to ask him to, so im glad he did it without me asking;

I had some guests email me pictures they took and got some table shots that way but I cant believe that I forgot to tell the photograper to do that, although he did get some real nice candid shots of various guests
well you think that is bad.. some how i forgot to take a picture w/ just my mom and brother.. so upset about this still..
I know how you feel- I don't have one alone with my mom at ALL! Or my grandmother or brother- it really *****.
