table place cards?

Has anyone used a tree with paper hanging leaves as place cards? If so, how did people find their place card as it is not in alphabetical order? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I did not do this but if I had, I would have had several smaller trees to hold a section of the alphabet each. Like the first tree from A-F, second from G-N and the third from O-Z. That way you wont get the congestion around one tree while guests find their name.

Ive been to weddings where the cards werent even alphabetized and there were 300 cards..and people still found their names..it just takes longer. So as long as you put some order to it, it will work out.
