'Taken'

I just have to say that 'Taken' is one of the best movies ever! Me & DH went to see it last night (after weeks of looking forward to it's opening night) and it did not let us down!! I just looooove those hero movies - where he kicks the bad guys @ss. It was awesome. DH loved it too.

Just thought I'd share, for any of you who need to see a good action movie. This one wasn't too graphic either, which I appreciated. There's nothing that i hate more than cheap thrills - what I mean by this is showing gruesome scenes that just disturb rather than entertain.

OMG I LOOOVED IT!!!! i saw it last week, well at home bc it just came out yesterday lol which i didnt know when i first saw it, thought it was already out. But dh DL's the studio copies sent out for nominations and for premieres and stuff, and then he has the wire we dl from iphone to tv to watch it on tv. Just had to point that out since i said last week and it just came out yesterday lol

It was so action packed, and liam neeson was so awesome. DEFINITELY recommend others to see it

I loved slumdog millionaire, it was touching and had everything in it that you want in a movie. It's weird but dh wasnt THAT crazy about it. He said he thought it was well written but he didnt think it lived up to its hype. He is crazy though i loved it lol

lol - glad you cleared that up (the 'last week' deal) Seriously - wasn't 'Taken' a great movie though?? It feels like it's been FOREVER since I've seen one I liked this much. I'd go see it again if I could - but DH isn't a freak like me. He just needs to see a movie once to be satisfied.haha. I think I'll definitely be excited about when this one is released on DVD though (in like a freakin' YEAR probably)

it has been SUCH a long time since i have seen a REALLY GOOD movie!! it was refreshing!!!

I haven't seen Slumdog Millionaire yet. Me & DH were in the city last weekend and stopped in a theatre to catch that one, but for some reason it wasn't even playing at a desent time. We ended up seeing 'The Reader' instead. I did NOT like that one!!!

But Slumdog Millionaire is certainly next on our agenda. Looking forward to it.

Definitely check out 'Taken' though! You won't be dissapointed

wow dh is the opposite, it drives me crazy sometimes but he can watch the same movie over and over and over and does it all the time. Even movies i really like, i cant take it bc its too much. For WEEKS oceans 13 is on cable everyday and he watches it EVERYDAY or even gone baby gone, both great but i dont want to watch it every single day lol. And he does this with so many movies.

You should see Benjamin Button, it was great too

ha! Well I wouldn't go THAT far! I could never watch the same movie twice in one week - but I do like to see movies more than just once - even within a month or 2 span. If I were still home in NY, I'm sure I'd be going to see this again with my sister next week. But alas, I still don't have any friends out here in Co besides DH. lol. Soon enough tho! Maybe once i start working I'll be able to meet more people

i wish it was 2x a week, its more like 4-5x a week it drives me nuts lol. I can also watch movies more than once but prefer to do it when i havent seen it in a little while.

Yes, it is a long movie, about 3 hours. If i was in a movie theater i would start getting antsy too but thats also bc my knee starts killing me if i sit like that for too long. I saw it at home so wasnt that bad then to watch a long movie.

I just watched it - DH has it on bootleg. It was really good!!! After that, I watched Australia which was okay. It was a bit slow moving for me, but towards the middle it got better. Now I am gonna watch The Curious Case of Benjamin Button It's movie day for me!

yeah like i said i saw taken last week and def not in a theater lol. We dl it from a site, and then dl the movie onto dh's iphone and then have a cable that connects iphone to tv and watch it on tv. I will fm you now the info.
