Curious how many have your DH name or your DH has your name... Most of you probably know my DH has mine, has had it for years... Just curious to see.

Well, DH has two full sleeves and his chest done, I am sure he could squeeze my little 4 letter name in there somewhere! I would definitely get DH's name tattooed. I have two symbols that I want to cover up on the back of my leg and a vine w/ flowers around my ankle and onto my foot...I have been thinking of doing something with this for a while...

dh and i both have one and both want to add to them/get other ones. i thought about somehow combining the starfish logo i used on all of our wedding stuff with a treble clef because i'm a music nerd and want something to symbolize music, but i think that would look ridiculous together. i only want 1 more tattoo, not 2 more which is why i thought to combine them. however, i know neither of us would get names. i'd even be nervous about the starfish. i should just stick to music, i guess

OMG! I was thinking about using starfish or seahorses from our wedding to create a tattoo! hahaha...glad to know i was not alone in that thought!

Would never do the name thing thougH I have one tatoo on ym lower back and planning to add CARPE DIEM beneath it. DH has 9 tatoos but the name thing we find to be a little tacky; like we know we're devoted to one another. we dont need to advertise. JOO.

My only suggestion to you would be if you're unsure enough to consider laser hair removal NOW before even getting one, I'd put it ina less visible spot than your wrist. I got mine on my lower back precisely because I plan to be a school AP and if I ahd it too visible, might make my life more difficult in conservative communities.

I like the idea of using your wedding song though.

dont get his name!!! its a curse. celebrities or not. i actually have a tattoo for my husband but it says 'forever yours' which is in the wedding bands and its a bride & groom. it at least doesnt have his name!!

Regardless of how much I love my husband, I would never put a lovers name on my skin. However,I do have my son Lucas' name on my arm in Japenese scripture, and my brother Thomas ( may he rest in peace) his initials with angel wings on my right shoulder. And that suites me fine

Thanks for your op... but... either way I don't believe in curses or voodoos or any bad lucks. Life is what you make it. I have no problem w showing a tat on my wrist either. Just gotta get up the nerve to go under the needle again. Tats are not for everyone and neither are the name thing. To me it is what it is.

I dont think I would tattoo DH's name. I do have a paw print on my lower back to represent my love for animals but thats about it. I think like the other ladies mentioned maybe a symbol (like the infinity symbol) or something that represents the both of you, but hey its your body- if you want to tattoo dh's name i say go for it!!!

ours is two interlocking circles... we got them back in 2002.

I FREAKIN' LOVE TATOOS. i've been ITCHIN' to get my next(it'll be on my right shoulder) but i have to get to the point where i can splurge the amount of $$mula$$ on myself. ANYWAYS, i have a really pretty design that i drew with our monogram in the middle(on my back), and DH has the date we met tattoo'ed on his wrist

We dont have each others name but we got something after the wedding which is roman numerals in a circle with our wedding date and the Japanese character for love in the middle.

I have on tattoo on my hip, but it's not DH's name (I got it when I was 17) ... he has thought about getting one but has no idea what he wants so hasn't gotten one yet. I will never get his name tattoo'd on me and I dont think he will get mine either. Nothing against it- plenty of people like it and look good with it- it's just not for us.

That is reallyyy cute that he has the date you MET tattoo'd on him- I think that's a good idea and unless people ask, only you guys will know what it means
