Teachers on here

Is the CST the hardest of the exams? Is going to a prep class necessary?

I found the CST to be the hardest. I don't think a class is necessary, but how long has it been since you took a class in the subject area??? If not for a while, then a class may be useful!

I'm taking the multi subject one. I have the barron's review book though.

What subject??? I found it to be the hardest, Social Studies, only because of the sheer magnitude of time, history, countries and subjects (psych, govt, eco, anthro, geography, etc.) it covered.

I dont think you can prep for any of them honestly... its just a lot of reading and they give you senerios of what you would do...just look over the book they give you when sign up for it and that is enough.

ITA. It was the most difficult for me but I don't think studying will help. It is more about being familiar with the format of the test so looking over the book should help more in my opinion.

I took the CST - English and I really didn't find it that bad at all. It was around 7 years ago though so who knows if I'm really remembering correctly! I guess I'm no help!

DH and I both found the music CST to be way harder than the other tests. It was just SO specific and there was so much it could cover. I honestly don't think there was anyway for us to prepare for the type of questions it asked other than by just knowng the format!

ITA!!! This test was def. harder than the other ones. I would def. buy one of those books and do test prep and study the format. Good luck!!!

I agree . I didn't take a class for any of them. The cst is just basic knowledge question
