tell me the best part of your shower

what was your fav. prt of your shower BESIDES all the gifts.. like games, etc. I'm part of a bridal party, and none of the girls are planning anything and the mom is so lost, so I'm trying to make it fun, what can you suggest???

def the games,,, the one where they ask me questions about dh that he already answered and i have to guess what he said and if i get it wrong i have to put a stick of gum in my mouth and i did sooo bad i had 40 question to answer and i got like only 10 right it was really funny

Oh my god I played this one but they used bubbalicious, not sticks of gum, and my stupid DH didn't answer the questions right!!!! I know him better than he knows himself. I made him play the gmae that night and we went through 3 packs of bubbalicious with the answers he gave

i LOVED the games....

my friends know i'm all about movies & they did famous movie couples & the movie they were in fill in the blank type things....

it was so much fun!!!

the 5 lbs I had lost the night before from a stomach virus. I was NEVER that thin- and havent been since.. LOL

I seriously almost didnt make it to the shower. My MIL was bugging out.

Sorry, no fun to add.. We only played bridal shower bingo.. No one paid attn either.. lol

I loved the recipe book they put together for me. They mailed out recipe cards with the shower invite and asked each person to fill it out with a recipe and one of my BM had this wood cover recipe book personalized.

ok so 1: my mom had everyone bring a recipe and it started my recipe box VERY good idea....it was so helpful when i started cooking & i still use them all!

2: they did a fun game where they had a timer & would set it for a certain amount of minutes while i was opening my gifts. Each time the timer went off, whoever's gift i was opening got a prize

3: bridal bingo....make an empty bingo card - have gifts fill in all the boxes with gifts they think the bride will recieve. as she's opening gifts mark off the boxes(if u wrote that item down)..Bingo winner gets a prize

4: How many items in the pocketbook: make a list of random items u think women would have in their pocketbook. As u call out the items have women take out what they have in their bag...once all items are read, the woman who has the most items wins

5: At my SIL's shower they did a pocketbook weight in lol. They brought a scale, and as each woman came in, they had their pocketbook weighed. The person who's weighed the most, and the person who's weighed the least each got a prize

My girls gave me a candle presentation. It had a poem, I will find it and give it to you if you want it.

Then we played a game where I had to put a piece of gum in my mouth if I got a question about DH, like what college did he go to, what was hid first job, etc

The toilet paper dress game, that is kewl

OMG, I did something worse, I made him eat the piece of gum that was in my mouth!!!!!! It was huge and gross, it was big pieces of gum, and tart fruit flavors!
