Front of card:

Back of card:
A loving note can barely express how you have added to our happiness. We would like to send our sincerest thanks for your thoughts, your prayers, your wonderful gifts and your presence in our lives....

I wrote them all out individually and they varied based on the gift.

I wrote out every single card. They basically said:

We are so happy you were able to join us to celebrate our wedding! Thank you so much for the generous gift! We will certainly be able to use it well in our new home!

Since we had moved to NC and out of NY, I often wrote a few lines about how I hope if they were ever thinking of coming down to NC to let us know because we would love to see them. Of course, I didn't write that for everyone, but for many. For those who gave gift items or honeymoon registry gifts, I added a line about how much we enjoyed the specific thing instead of just 'generous gift.'

Filled up the cards well enough I think.

We had this printed inside:

There is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved. Thank you for sharing in our happiness.
Your generosity and thoughtfulness are very much appreciated.

Then we wrote a short personalized note in each. Basically we thanked the person for the gift and for sharing our wedding day. After awhile a lot of them were similar.

The front of ours said this We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts, but fo you our hearts have no bottom


Inside We sincerely thank you for your love and support. We couldn't be more blessed having friends and family like you to share in this beautiful time in our lives


and we also added a personal handwritten not on each of them

I wrote out every card. They all said something different but all included something to the effect of 'Thank you for sharing our day and for your generous gift.'

We hand wrote every ty card and some we added personal funny messages but for the standard one it went something like...ty for coming and sharing in our special day and for your generous gift.we hope you had as much fun as we did
