'Thanks for (insert gift) and for being a part of our special day.'

'Thanks for (insert gift) and for coming to our wedding.'

Something else?

if they gave a check, i wrote 'we really appreciate your generous gift.'

if they gave an actual gift (not money), we wrote 'we really appreciate the (gift) - we can't wait to use it for (whatever use it has)'
