We just received ours from our photographer a few days ago but between work and sooo much school work and our delayed honeymoon coming up in 2 weeks, I have no idea when I'll be able to get to them! I was just wondering how long after a wedding you all got your thank you cards out? Or how long after a wedding is it until its considered late to have a thank you card out? I don't want my guests to think I'm rude for taking forever to get them out! lol.

My wedding was August 1st 2009.....I started mailing out Thank yous in Jan 2010 and I still have a few b/c DH STILL hasn't gotten me a few addresses.

We got ours out within about 2 months of the wedding. I get very stressed if I have anything like that hanging over my head!
According to Martha Stewart, you have 3 months after the wedding to get them out. But I think others say 6 months.

I'm *almost* done with mine. I was hoping to have the done by our 4 month anniversary (3/14) but it will probably be a couple of more weeks.

I think it's best to send within 6 months from the wedding date..BUT some people can take up to a year.
As long as they're sent, you're good! Don't stress!!

My wedding was in august and i got them out sometime in january! so dont stress it too much...i think you have a year to do them

etiquette say 3 months......I took 4 months to get mine out but I wouldnt let them go over 6months unless there is a major personal issue that delays it.

i put my order in for them yesterday and got a call that they are ready today! talk about being prompt!
i cant pick them up until next week and im hoping to have them written and mailed by the end of march beginning of april

Uhh oHHH I just hit the 3 month mark and haven't even picked them out yet!!!
