THANK YOU Note Poll--- Have you passed the '3 month' deadline??

Did everyone get their Thank Yous out before the '3 month' deadline??? I hear anything over 3 months is rude. But my 3 months is up on Monday, and I'm still waiting for my cards to be printed....

Am I the only one being RUDE?

I'm hitting my 3 month deadline on Sunday, and I'm picking up my pictures on Tuesday. So I'll probably be about a week over the deadline. I'm being bold and going to try getting them all out by next Saturday!

I had mine out in 3 months also. Seriously though, I think as long as you sned one it doesn't matter! I was at awedding last year, and I never got a Thank you.

I went to a bridal shower this past April - never got a Thank you. We just went to their wedding this month - we'll see what happens.

I was really anal with this so mine were out in 2 months - but my photographer was really fast in printing our TY cards.

I had no excuse other than my own laziness. I think I sent them out at the 4 month mark.

As far as Im concerned, any guest who marks off 90 days on their calendar and complains can kiss my a$$. It was more important to me to have geniune and heartfelt notes of thanks to my guests rather than the same dribble most couples write in their thanks yous.

Even though the offcial window is 90 days, I dont think many people even think of it until about 6 months.

I just past the two month mark and mine are halfway done. I hope to have them out before 3 months. I think anything past 6 months is rude, not 3.

Karen - I sent mine out right on the three month mark. I actually think they went out exactly three months.

I was hoping to send mine out this weekend (before the 2 month mark) only because as a teacher, I had the summer off to do them and the next couple of months are going to be incredibly busy. But my DH wanted to help me with the wording and has done absolutely nothing, except complain when I 'nag' him to do TY notes.

im hitting the 2 month mark next week and i havne't ordered them. and i have to write over 250 cards! arghhhhhhhhhhhhh lets see if i make it.

I think anything less then 6 months is acceptable. I have never marked my calendar for when to expect a TY.

Ok, I just passed 4 months and I am still waiting for my cards from my photographer. I picked them out in early july, so this is out of my control. Oh well, my guests will have to understand.

I passed the 3 month mark about 2 weeks ago. I'm trying to finish in the next week. I don't think I ever noticed how long it took to get a TY card anyway. My guests should all know that I'm busy and understand.

Mine went our rather quickly, but I highly doubt anyone was paying attention to the timeframe.

I gave my SIL a wedding gift over 3 months ago and truth is I am sure I will wait over 3 years for a thank you.....now that I consider VERY rude.
