DH really likes this picture for our thank you. What do you think? Is it okay? I like it but I don't know if you're supposed to have a picture where you can see our faces or if a kissing picture is nice instead.
Also, we're probably going to have pictures on the inside left side of the card so I guess I can put nonkissing pictures there if this one is okay. Help please! I don't know what to do!

I love the picture, but I'm not crazy about it for the front of your TYs...maybe on the inside, and pick a picture where you can see your faces maybe

I went through the samething. Our TY Ant picked out and it is similair to yours. As to where I kept hearing my mother's voice in my head that I should do something traditional, us looking or just a head shot. Do what you want since you also will have 2 other pictures. P.S. I love that picture and say do it.

love this pic!
we did a far away shot as our main pic, with three smaller pics on the side, two of us kissing and one of our faces.
<------ETA that was the far away shot of us which was the main pic with three small square pics along the side

I love it! We had a kissing picture on the front and a more traditional pose on the inside. Everyone seemed to love it since people were telling me it was the nicest thank you they'd ever gotten, they were showing it to all their friends, or that we should be wedding thank you models!

I really like it, but I'm not sure if I would use it for a TY...I'm going through the same dilemma, I have an awesome shot of us at the altar in the same pose, and with all the colors it looks like an oil painting, but I'm not sure how our guests would react to it so I'll probably go the traditional mid-body shot...I only get one pic though, so if you get more than one pic I'd incorporate it for sure.

It would look great in a collage.. but one of the bigger pix in it.. imo
I think that a thank you picture should be a pic where it shows your faces, bouk and dress... that is a traditonal thank you....that's what I did...and I only used one pic, hoping that people may want to frame it!!
However, anything works!!
If anything that pic MUST be in your album!! It is beautiful!!

Honestly I have found that people appreciate a thank you card a little out of the norm. We did an untraditional shot eventhough everyone was saying it should just be a pic of the two of us! The pic was us kissing, outside the church with all our friends and family surrounding us and we were the only people in color. People I saw were complimenting and others called my mom to tell her it was such a beautiful thank you and DH's coworkers mom thought we used models.........just saying don't feel pressured to pick something 'traditional'!

Thanks for your responses girls! Honestly, I expect people to open the envelope, look at the picture for a second, read the message and then toss the card aside without another thought. I don't know why I'm stressing about this! I don't like clutter so I never keep thank yous unless I was in the bp.

No way...I think it is totally fine!!! That is an amazing, dramatic, and romantic picture and I love that it isnt your typical thank you pic!! Go for it!!!!
