Thank you's - A POLL

I did not want traditional thank you's, and since our theme was a 40's movie I thought it might be cool to have a little recap CD as the wedding thank you. The CD Cover gives me plenty of room to thank people, list my vendors, the BP (like a cast list) etc.... and I have become pretty good with Final Cut Pro software. I thought it might be nice, and I would also include pictures on the CD cover (it is a 3 fold, so it fits 6 pics) as well as the traditional TY wallet, which was included in my photograhy package.
DH thinks it is a waste of $ and extra postage, and does not beleive that anyone will watch it What do you gals think? I can put it on a CD-rom, so that way people without a DVD player can still watch it.

I think this is a great idea, but would be a lot of work and money. Most people would watch it only once and not fully appreciate it. I would consider doing this for the bp and immediate family only.

I completely agree with September...its a great idea and very unique...but there are probably only a handful of people who would would appreciate it. So I would save it for the close friends and family thatyou know will.

I think if you are up to doing the work involved, I would LOVE to get something like this... but I agree with Stef, some people may not appreciate all the time that went into it.

I would have to agree as well.

Personally I would love to get it because I love looking at wedding pictures but not everyone is like that.

I think it is a great idea to do for yourself and maybe close family and friends. I'm afraid all your other guests wouldn't appreciate your creativity and hard work.

i gave them to my close family and bridal party. but decided not to do them for everyone. i thought for the time and money it would take it wouldnt be worth it.

I think its a great idea. I agree with the rest of the ladies though, and would give them to close family and friend.

Thanks Gals.... I took your advice & am only doing them for the BP, families and a few relatives & friends that travelled a distance (like my family from England).
