This was our thank you:

There are so many people we would like to thank on this special day. To our friends, who have been such an important part of our lives, this day could never mean as much as it does without you all here to share it with us. To our brothers, sisters, and cousins, for being our first friends and for all the wonderful childhood memories we have because of you. To our grandparents and extended family, both here and those who are watching over us from heaven, we hope to continue living the values and traditions which you have instilled in us. Finally, to our parents, for all of the love and support they have shown us over the years. We hope that our marriage will reflect the amount of respect, thoughtfulness, and love that your marriages do.

We are so lucky.

We had a lot of people from abroad that couldn't make it (including my mother, only my father had a passport, and in my country they have been not giving passports for almost 2 years). So we wrote this:


We are grateful
to our families and friends,
who have come here today
to share with us this special day.
We also cherish dearly,
the blessings and thoughts
of our loved ones abroad,
you are always in our hearts.

Some of you have traveled from far away and others from right down the road. From near or far we are grateful for your presence today. Thank you for sharing our first day of our married lives.
