Re: that feeling....
You know I was watching Desperate Housewives the other night...it was the finale of the first season (we're a little behind here), when Bree's husband dies...and I just thought I can't even IMAGINE If I let myself think about it I would get upset, so I just don't...but I know what you mean.

I always tell my DH that I feel I might lose him because he's the best thing in my life and good things only last so long. He thinks I'm crazy! To answer your question, you're not the only one!

Re: that feeling....
OH MY GOD! I thought i only had these horrible thoughts. Last weekend my DH was away on business and all i kept thinking about was what if i lose him in a plane crash and how horrible i would feel. Almost to the point that i was making myself cry....i kept thinking i am just strange. I also started thinking this way the day of that Extreme Homemakeover on Long Island.....to have a wonderful life and then all of a sudden to just be gone from it....
All i know is i would be absolutely devasted if i ever lost this man. He is the best thing that has ever happened to my life and i can't even fathom what life would be like if he was to be gone all of a sudden.
The one thing i make sure i do is give him a kiss good bye in the morning and tell him i love him. Especially after 9/11 it just went to show me that anyone can be here one day and gone the next.
So you are not alone.

OH YES!!!!
Honestly, I don't know what I would do if anything ever happened to him. I can't even stomach thinking about it.

Re: that feeling....
I think that sometimes...the thought is so scary to me. My father passed away of cancer when I was just a baby....my mom and him were 28 or 29. I can't even imagine what it must have been like for my mom. I don't think I would be as strong as she was.

Re: that feeling....
OMG! DH left this morning for a job related trip to Columbia. He will be there for a week and I have had this sick feeling all day! I feel sad, but not because he's going away. It's that 'what if he doesn't come home feeling.' He thinks I'm over reacting but I can't help it.
His job isn't always the safest and I'm usually not a nervous nellie about it, but this is different because he'll be out of the country and I will have limited contact with him. I honestly don't know what I would do without him and it's all I can think about right now.

I feel that also! When Rob was going into surgery on Friday, I was so worked up that I almost fainted when I saw him after the surgery. I love him so much and our relationship means so much to be that I literally feel PANIC when these terrible thoughts come to me. Especially when you see the tragedies that happen on a daily basis and when you recognize how precious life is and how wonderful love is. I try to embrace every second we share together, and I pray and hope for more!

All the time! I worry all the time about him. I think what life would be like without him, and I can't bare it. Last week there was an article in paper about a couple died on the same day, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. They were in their 70's, it was sad, but sweet too. Steve and I just tell each other that we are going to die together, and that makes me feel better.
