The answer we've all been waiting for! Why Brit Brit s*ck yesterday?

X17 has uncovered the truth behind Brit's less than energetic performance tonight.

Check it out -- we're all wondering why Britney looked like she was doing a dry run rather than a full-on VMAs gig tonight and X17 has the answer!

A source tells X17 Brit found out about Sarah Silverman's crappy line about Britney's babies just moments before she took the stage to perform 'Gimme More.' Needless to say, Britney was PISSED! ... as any mom would be. Britney was so upset she walked through her performance just to get it over with (despite encouragement from her friends, including Sam who was apparently yelling at Sarah backstage) to skip out on it all together). She held up her end of the bargain and got a major slap in the face from Sarah.

I 120% agree! i read that Sarah wasnt supposed to open bashing Britney she just saw the opportunity and had to take it..

I think she made some kind of comment like britney's kids 'were the cutest mistakes' she'd ever seen....and then i think maybe something about her hairless va-jay jay.

Po-lease ....Sara performed AFTER Britney. A real performer would of done a far better job then Brit did regardless of some comedian. She has lost it and her people are still trying to find any excuse they can.

what Sarah said was absolutely horrible... she said her kids were the cutest mistakes ever.. and then she was like wow Brit is amazing.. she is 25 years old and has accomplished everything that she is ever going to accomplish... it was not nice

I really think what Sarah said about her babies was really uncalled for and hurtful, don't bring her kids into anything......that was just wrong. Make fun of her for other reasons but don't say to anyone 'that their kids are a mistake'.........
