This- I dont think I can describe it. Its ground up chick peas with spices rolled into balls and fried.

yeah, but it doesn't really TASTE like ground up chick peas ... not to me, at least.

any place that sells gyros (middle eastern mostly, and possible some greek) places should have it. i trust a restaurant a bit more than a street vendor
but they are sooo good. in a warm pita bread with lettuce, tomato and hummus. yum yum
