Anybody Decorating??? Anybody putting their tree up???
I have off this Weekend, so I plan on doing some Christmas Shopping, and then maybe doing something special with DH at night.

I can't believe 2007 is almost over!!! I spent a year wishing it would hurry up and be November and now it's almost December
We are trying to get ready for Hanukkah - finally dug out our menorah and found the candles to put in it. We are not exchanging gifts this year because we bought several pieces of art on our HM and decided those would be our gifts to each other (oh, and the wedding ) but I need to go shopping for friends and family and get a few small things for DH (I can't stand not getting him ANYthing). We might go outlet shopping this weekend.

DH and I are putting up our christmas tree together on Sat. We are having both families over for a lil tree trimming party....should be fun!

DH is working this weekend so I'm going to try and finish organizing the apt. We built a lot of bookcases last weekend so now hopefully we can put some stuff away. Sunday AM doing some Christmas shopping with my Mom and Sunday afternoon the hospice that took care of my Dad is having a tree lighting ceremony in memory of my Dad and others who passed away this year.

I have a speech & debate tournament tomorrow morning, so it is an early night for me tonight. DH & I will do some decorating when we get home tomorrow and on Sunday we are doing brunch wil FIL and then going to a Holiday Crafts fair at our local parish.

Since my wedding was the day after thanksgiving and no one wanted to cook crazy the day b4 the wedding, my aunt is making us real thanksgiving dinner tomorrow night wit my fam... def going to put my tree up on sunday... its soo exciting the first holidays as husband and wife

My husband and I are going to see Jethro Tull in the city on Sunday. And for the rest of the week, I'll be wrapping as the packages arrive in the mail. We're done with the Christmas shopping

Tonight we have more Hanukah shopping to do since it starts... Tuesday!
We're actually pretty good and only have his father left, which means I have to go to Home Depot w/ DH. Ugh! Tomorrow we're going to Hoboken for my friend's 30th... Sunday I'm supposed to meet up w/ my girl friends in the city to see the tree, shop, play at Toys R Us, Hersheys, drink at Time Square, etc. Can't wait, but I heard it's supposed to rain and snow so may postpone.. if we do then it's watching football. Either way looking forward to everything!

I put my tree up the Saturday after Thanksgiving.. I am working tomorrow til 1pm and then I am cooking for me and DH

DH got home from work a little later than normally. He just got to sleep now. He will be getting up around 4 PM.
Not sure what the plans on for tonight. I wanted to go to the Bronx Zoo & see their Christmas Light Show.... but since DH got out of work late, I don't think that will happen.
I want to do something Christmasy

we put up our tree last week, but our cat took it out promptly at 5am the next morning. i'm going to attempt to put it back up today and secure it this time!!
i haven't seen DH at all this week because of our hectic schedules (he worked late and i had to leave for rehearsal every night before he got home), so while he's working all day again today (grant application due dec 10!), we're having a 'date night' tonight. we're going to a restaurant in town we've always wanted to try and then we're gonna come back here for a movie so we can curl up on the couch
then it's back to the grind tomorrow - another full day of work for him and another performance for me. so much for the weekend!
