The house hunting search continues

My husband and I put a bid in for a house over the weekend that I absolutely love! Unfortunately, the seller did not accept our bid, counter offered at a higher price than we are willing to go.
I know it's probably for the best (what's meant to be - will be) but I lost two nights of sleep waiting for a response from the seller only to find out that they didn't accept our bid.
At this rate, I will become an insomniac. How do you deal with the disappointment if the deal does not go through?

Take it that it's meant to be and that you'll find a better house. That's how I handled it and we did find a better house. It's not worth the stress ... it really isn't. Your house is out there but you just haven't found it yet.
