Anyone post over there?
Actively? I started messing around last night.. I got a bit lost .. been a member for sometime but I just never got into posting over there I donno why


Some of the ideas those girls come up with are awesome

i was a very active member of the LI board from about 2005-2006. that is how i met april....heather (mrsvpt).....and also jennie0898 from LIF....as well as Devon on here.

the long island board used to have a lot of people on it--then it got drama llama. the other boards are a little nuts. not a fan

I posted on the knot before I started posting here. I really just posted on the local board for my venue. Zero drama and tons of info. It just moves slower than here, i kept posting there but less than here....I still check in every once in a while.

way more than here, it doesnt even compare. LIW is really tame compare to the drama on the knot. There is one board on there where thats all there is, certain girls just talking about others, no wedding talk.

It went too far in my opinion and i got disgusted by it. They would constantly talk about this girl who had a baby and make fun of her baby all the time, and post pics of the baby while saying horrible things about him. That goes beyond regular drama that is disgusting. They just spent their days thinking about other members and just going too far.

it was very common, and what they did.

You would see some drama about others disagreeing, but mostly it was just saying nasty things about people.

And on LIW you see people who disagree but they wouldnt say it the same way. I would feel so bad for some who would just ask for an opinion. They would say you're a spoiled b*tch, i feel sorry for the man marrying you, thats how they would answer something if someone disagreed lol. Most girls on LIW do think before speaking and will say they disagree but in a nice way, never THAT far

I have to say the NY and LI board didnt have as much drama.

Planning and etiquette does have drama. But believe it or not the worst out of all of them is 'not engaged yet' board. Its mostly married women on there who talk so not like most of the woman are not engaged. But if you go to NEY board you'll see the most drama

The nest is fun to look through for ideas and such....I've only posted a few times though.

the NEY board and the Advice from Brides (AFB) were the WORST ones.

omg they would rip you to SHREDS on there.

and you're right Gem--I definitely made some good friends on there--BUT it was on the Long Island board only. that wasn't very drama filled....but one day a big blow out happened....and it was never the same.

I was just looking on the NEY board after this thread. Seems like alot of the girls who used to regularly post, aren't on. Or maybe just from the few posts i did see. But still is the same way for the most part. Their only reason for posting was like you said, to rip people to shreds and they would go as far as they could.

its planning and etiquette board.

one thing to remember is that when you post in a thread it doesnt bump it, it remains in the same place. That might help with some confusion.

i used to post on the knot before i posted on LIW. THeres way more drama on there than here, it really doesn't even compare. There are some members on there who basically dont post about wedding things or even regular NWR things but basically just putting people down.
