The name change is official!!!

So I FINALLY went to the DMV and to SS today. Even though my marriage certificate had our names hyphenated I didn't have to put it that way on either my SS card or DL which was a relief. I didn't want to be signing things with both names for the rest of eternity... not sure what I was thinking when I filled out the marriage certificate that way...

Me too!!!! Went to the DMV since my driver's license was up for renewal, went to the SS Dept, and went to all my banks to change my name....now only have to do my passport, which I will do after I go to Vegas in June....and all my credit cards.

Congrats! I've been procrastinating getting this done. I go for a job interview Monday and I wanted to make all the changes so that my professional license would have my new name by the interview date in case I land the position I won't be known by two names and it be all confusing.
