THE NYC MARRIAGE LICENSE SAGA...
WELLLLL, after not hearing anything from the NYC marriage license dep't in the past MONTH since my wedding, and after calling over and over again for days without getting through, I FINALLY got through today on a number given to me by one of the FABULOUS newlyweds on this board (THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!)
As it turns out, she pulled my license up and said, 'huh, it hasn't been done yet...' proceeded to put me on hold, and then came back and said 'so sorry, it will be mailed out to you today.'
I MEAN - WHAT IS THAT? I'm very happy it will be mailed out today, but shouldn't they be doing this without my calling them? I don't know WHAT the problem is over there. Seems EXTREMELY unorganized!!!
I hope it actually DOES go out in the mail today~~~!!!!!!![]()
