I admit to beign a big wimp. The Devils Advocate scared the crap out of me. i dont like anything to do with demons especially the Devil because being religious I believe in both heaven and hell and I ahte those 'lead em into temptation' movies. Always too easy.
That and fawking kid movies like Children of the corn. Any child with black demonic eyes can go thatta way FAR form me.
Is pans Labryinth good? I wanted to see that.
OMG, Jenn, 'Children of the Corn' scared me so bad!!

i really like the guy playing male lead tho, he was on felicity (im so lame, loved that show!)
i get so freaked out every time it comes on and DEF wont be seeing it!! i used to watch every scary movie there was until i realized how it was making me anxious as all b@lls. i have nightmares enough as it is. after seeing Saw and the beginning part of hostel, NO freakin chance Ill watch any of those type of movies. i still watch thrillers though. the new M Night Shama-llama-ding-dong movie w/ mark wahlberg looks pretty good! That guys lives in my neck of the woods- (M Night, not wahlberg).

I'm the opposite.... I can watch the Saw movies & I LOVE them...i thought i'd be scared of them - but I think they are very creatve..
I think it's because with movies like that - you SEE the person behind it all....you know it's a person, nothing 'magical' or 'special' about the person...and i can be okay with that.
The movies that are all, 'what was that?' - those scare me to no end!

well i'm not too far into Pan's Labyrinth right now--and already i'm intrigued. the special effects/makeup for the characters in it.....are out of this world and completely different than anything i've ever seen before. very creative

if its some creepy dude doing some serious torture on ppl for jollies...THAT freaks me out bc that happens in real life. there are some serious weirdos out there!!
the other stuff.. 'what was that?!'...its not very realistic some times so it doesnt scare me. thrillers don't scare me for the most part but anything w/ torturing ppl or kids, i have major issues with that!

BUT - then there are movies like that...that just stick with me - House of 1,000 Corpses made me want to pull my eyes out. I LOVE me some Rob Zombie - but after that movie - i can't look at him the same way. To think that he made that movie up out of his imagination....no....that's just wrong.

I cant do creepy kids like I said. The Phrophecy scared the crap out of me-all those black eyes. I forget which one it was but there was a girl in one of them FREAKY. All i remember of the movie is those black eyes.

please, he's terrified of the trailer, and i made him look at the website. he's sitll giving me sh1t for that one!! i cheer on the gore, it's so much fun!!
but i do get really scared of demonic horror - anything about he devil, w/ religious undertones, i get scared, and i'm not religious at all. i just really fear evil spirits.
as for the strangers being based on true events, it's more like a conglomorate of different true events all thrown together. there's no record at all about the house, the people named. that's why it says true events, not 'based on a true story'. either way, movies like that make me love living in a suburban or urban area. no way will i ever live in a town where the next house is a mile away. when i scream, i want people to hear it!!
