yay! My mom works for the LIRR and part of her job is doing lost and found reports. She always tells me that most people are honest.

That's GREAT! I love hearing stories like that.

My friend dropped her wallet out of her car last year right around Christmas. Apparently, it fell in the snow and plowed itself to another TOWN entirely - because someone found it, saw her license, looked her up on Facebook and messaged her on Christmas Eve to tell her he had it.

It was returned to her with everything intact.

Can you believe that???

Re: THERE ARE GOOD PEOPLE IN THE WORLD !!

I had left my wallet on the train once (license, cc's, money) and almost had a breakdown when I realized. I filled out the lost and found form and one week later I got a call from LIRR saying they had it. Nothing was taken at all. Good to know you had the same luck I did!
