Oh I feel so bad for them... 45k a year for their nanny and 12k a year for their personal trainer! I certainly hope they can qualify for some gov't assistance.

Yeah they spend $35k a year on 3 gowns for the wife to wear to charity balls.

DH and I had huge fight yesterday mostly being frustrated about how we are trying to save and cutting back.. and he raised a valid point about learning to live within or even below your means just because..

It should be a lesson learned for them, I hate to group people together, but obviously the article did.. 425 dollars every 10 for grocery? I mean seriously.. what are you eating?

I can't even read it either. Groceries are one thing, but I can just imagine all of the other unneccessary extravagances they spend a fortune on.

This drives me nuts!!! I mean really...fire the nanny and take care of your own kids....fire the driver and drive yourself...geez! These people need to get a grip on the reality of the situation this country is in!

One issue, though, is that these people largely help run the NY economy. Without their money wasted on extravagence, the specialty shops, the high end stores, restaurants, Broadway shows, etc. feel their loss. Trickle down economics, baby.

Does the $425 bill for the groceries include the people they pay to go pick them up & deliver????
