well I'm very tired and the house is a disaster, but its not SO bad. Its REALLY REALLY hectic with the kids playing and yelling and screaming...but they are cute.

They got here really late on Friday. They wound up flying into San Jose (an hour away) rather then San Francisco (15 minutes away) because they were running late (as usual). So they didn't get here till midnight. The kids were all wound up and I guess we finally settled down to sleep around 2am and popped awake at 6am. The parents and 2 kids in our room, one on the couch, and us on the airmattress on the floor.

We spent most of the day at the Wharf where they had holiday festivities going on. There was talk of them getting a hotel for Saturday night, but we ended up abandoning our apt to the visitors and we slept next door in our neighbors spare room. It was a much better night sleep, though still too short.

I just sent them off to church so I could have a few minutes to shower and relax. This is the only peaceful time there has been in days. They'll be leaving around 3 today (provided NY doesn't get snowed in).

So I guess its better then I expected, but I wouldn't ever do it again.
