Same here. I do love our apartment though although I wish it were a little larger.

Things I hate:
- Our neighbor to the left is trash.
- The pocket door for the half bath on the first floor. We can't figure out how to get a lock on it and you can't put a normal door in the space.
- I think the floor is unlevel in the laundry room so the washer makes a banging noise during the spin cycle.
- The carpets upstairs, I cannot wait to rip them out and put hardwood in like the first floor.
- The glass bowl pedastal sinks in the master bath... They are so getting rupped out and we're getting a vanity.

Other than that I don't have any complaints.


ETA: Wait, I lied,,, I also hate this giant tree-shrub thing in the backyard. It's right in the middle of the yard AND the pond the previous owners put it. It's just a mosquito playground.

Just that we don't own.

I actually LOVE my apartment!!!

Well.. just thought of one thing I'm not a fan of... HATE the bathroom... LOVE the rest of the place!!

Haha.. I thought of another one last night.... when we have to walk people out late at night.. I HATE that because the stairs creek and the doors are soooo loud... and the old landlords bedroom is right next to the loud asss door!!! I always feel like a kid sneaking around!!

Couldnt wait to first move in almost 1 yr ago... but soon found out...

1. our walls have zero insulation... they are freezing in the winter which makes the house cold = high heating bills

2. all electric is soooo not affordable LOL

3. slider windows are a total PITA when you have blinds up

4. tons of trees in our courtyard (we live in a condo) = barely any natural light comes in & thousands of leaves have been falling down

5. our management company sucks the big one... they collect lots of $$ and do the bare minimum... i just dont get it

ETA: 6. Very little counterspace in the kitchen... It makes preparing meals a bit annoying... but that could always be changed if we moved the sink's position when we put in granite

--- Thats about it... You find ways to better most of the issues as time goes on...

Hmmm I hope we dont find anything about the hosue once we move in!

As for our condo my biggest gripe is that it an annoying commute to work! That's about it thoguh!

the windows go the other way and its annoying to get screens
