I feel like the worst wife...
I have not a clue what to get for dh for his birthday this year. My original plan was a scrimshaw knife he wanted but i would have to drive to Rhode Island to insure that its real and not a replica- not going to happen 6 mths preggo...
So, Im trying to get some ideas.. Restaurants in the city.... long island? Places, plays?
**DH is not into sports... so this makes life hard on me***
I'm probably no help. Just bought DH Wii. How romantic, right? (But it's what he really wanted for a long time).
Has your DH dropped any hints besides the knife?

my Kindle!! DH bought it for me for my birthday last year and it is my favorite thing ever! I read at least a book a week (most weeks 2-3) and it's amazing. It was so great to go on a 3 week HM and not have to bring a ton of books - just my kindle and I was ready to go!

I love thekindle! We have three ipods and dh doesnt use one of them

DH is SO hard to buy gifts for! I always feel so bad because I can never think of anything he could use. Well, this year I did something he LOVED! I took him out to a delicious steak dinner at BLT Prime and then we went to a comedy show at the Comedy Cellear downtown. It was such a great night out!

My Dh is the DH with everything! If he is into techy type things what about a blueray player with wifi? Or the Ipod touch? if he is into woring out what about paying for a year of his gym membership or maybe boxing lessons or something interesting like that?? Sorry im so bad atthis too. Its hard!

sorry for crashing! but i have the ssame problem with fh... i cam across this website forthosehardtoplease you pick the city and a price range and so many things come up! i got fh the sushi tasting, he LOVED this gift! they have so many ideas!

How about a conversation set (big comfy chairs or even an outdoor sectional) for your backyard? That way he can be outside more often?

Angela, That is an awesome idea- but we we share the backyard with his mom and dad so I'm pretty sure he wouldnt be the one using it...plus he's been wanting to 'make' a chair for back there (The adarondak ones)
