OMG!

WOW - its amazing that the body can do that! kind of gross but WOW - its crazy!

Any fertility doc who sees that and doesn't think, 'HMMMM maybe she shouldn't have had implanted 8 embryos in her' is NUTS.

Maybe her other 6 kids should have been in the pic. Maybe that would send the message home.

GRRRR. There are people out there that aren't able to have one child, who are desperately trying anything to have a baby, and she has FOURTEEN when she probably can only really take care of one financially. If that.

And that is why your body isn't intended to carry 8 children at once.

Does anyone know what the common practice is when it comes to implanting embryos? I know that they almost always put in extra - because not all will work. Is 8 an excessive amount or did they all just freakishly stick?

The most they would have implanted in her would have been 2, 3 at the absolute most. She said she had 6 embryos still frozen and wanted them all implanted b/c it would be like throwing out a human life. Since they implanted 6, that means their has to be twins in the mix as well.
