This should teach me not to get mad for no reason

Kind of a random post but i felt so bad. DH was calling my cell but i was on the other line leaving a message, it was important too so i was right in the middle of leaving my number when he started calling on the other line. I go to hit the pound button but nothing was happening and then went to pick up dh's call. But i was annoyed bc i realized that when you leave a message and if you get another call, the person will hear a beeping sound and interrupt what youre saying so i started worrying that they wont hear what my number was, it was regarding a job so thats what got me more annoyed. It was one of those things where someone does something to mess you up and you get annoyed with them but at the same time cant be mad and say something bc they didnt really do anything wrong lol.

Then DH calls me back and asked me to bring something downstairs, i didnt hear what he said so i said 'WHAT?' but i guess in a mean way i said it without realizing it. He asked what my problem was and that i kept giving him an attitude.

So i go downstairs, he asked for a cc of his and my car keys. When i get downstairs he said, 'i wanted your car keys so i can clean off the snow for you bc tomorrow is gonna be freezing and dont want you to have to clean it off tomorrow when its that cold' i felt so horrible. I was giving him an attitude while he was trying to do something nice for me. And yes i havent cleaned off the snow yet so it was also frozen. I just used his car but tomorrow i have to use my car. BUt feel so bad bc he didnt eat all day, had alot to do at work bc he is leaving on saturday and will be gone all next week so had to get alot done before he leaves, and instead of coming upstairs he volunteers to clean my car for me

I'm sure if you explain to him that you didn't have an attitude and what you were in the middle of doing, he will understand.

Awww that does stink...but it could happen to any of us (I know I have done stuff like that )

You'll have to make it up to him later

I've done something similar, giving an attitude when he was trying to do something nice for me

yeah when i went downstairs i really started apologizing and explaining haha. I even said how you know sometimes somebody does something and messes you up but not their fault and cant say anything lol. ANd when he called back the 2nd time i really didnt realize i said it with an attitude, i just couldnt hear so i guess came out wrong.

I will cook him a nice meal. Well tomorrow also going to his parents house to help with the cooking. Theyre having a big dinner for dh's bday tomorrow.

I know. I am guilty of the same thing. I find that I have to be a little bit more patient before I answer someone.
Don't worry! Cook him a great dinner, don't bring it up again and just make him feel extra special for his bday.

I think we all are guilty of something like that!!! Don't feel bad,,, just make it up to him before he goes away!

oh i just remembered i found the pics of Paul Rudolph house, ill fm it to you and with the info. I LOVE this place, wait until you see it, but after talking to the guy, doing the pricing and even asking for extended time which he said no problem to and booking an apt, he emailed me today to say 'oh i forgot to say cut off time is midnight' if i asked for extended time what did he think i meant, start early, then i wouldve said that. I was so set on this place. And messed me up today grrrrr.

The problem is that i dont want to give up on the idea of a suite or penthouse but no hotels are cool with this and the only one that is, i felt their penthouse i WAAAAAAY too small.

W hotel just called me and the guy was real cool and even gave me suggestions of other hotels to try, which was only 2. BUt he explained to me that in 2002 most hotels started doing a strictly no party policy unless they cater it and are there for it. But the guy said they can do it at their lounge cherry in the W hotel if i want.

I know i should just book Madame x and get it over it but everyday when im about to i say 'no i have to keep trying' i need to stop. However i did send out evites with date and said i will disclose the location soon its like a mystery hahaha.

so sorry for the long answers but im going nuts with this. SO now its either chambers hotel which was eh ok with it but im getting back more yes's than i thought i would and might be over 50 now or to do madame x. And also everyday i try to figure out if i can do the space at night hotel penthouse which is the only one cool with a party lol.

I like that you keep trying denise! You won't give up. The other place I thought of was the Morgan's hotel? JennNicole hosted her 2nd wedding there in their penthouse suite for her grandma. It looked GORGEOUS. Give them a buzz tomorrow.

BTW< that house looks BANANAS!!!!! I may have to investigate for DH's 30th next year!!

I know isnt it gorgeous even from the outside its like OH WOW this is HOTT!!!! and then the insid is gorgeus too. Its 3,000 sq feet too with a terrace so thats good. The guy you deal with is old and talks very slow but nice. ANd the fee for the place goes all towards their foundation.

I need to give up soon though bc i need to book something lol. Everyday i think of new hotels ornew places or figuring something to say to them or negotiate with them lol.
