We have talked about things our DHs do that are cute in another post so I figured I would make this one a spinoff. Does your DH do anything that really grosses you out or makes you nuts?


My DH doesn't really do anything gross but there is one thing about him that skeeves me. He is a very hairy man. He has hair in places that no one should ever have hair. I have come to terms with that and don't have a problem with it at all. However on his feet and ankles (going up to his calf really) he has NO HAIR. Not a ONE. When you touch his ankles it feels like when you just shave and it's all smooth. I don't know why but when his ankles brush up against me is really grosses me out...I am sure DH would hate me if he knew I told you all this..

DH doesn't really do anything that's gross...or maybe I'm just used to everything at this point?

oh there are lots of things! Lol but i hate when he clips his toenails and then chews on them!!

DH takes baths, not showers. And when he shaves, he shaves in the bath. So when he's done, there are all his little shavings sticking to the sides of the tub because he doesn't rinse it off before he gets out

yeah plenty of things lol but this one is kinda funny...

sorry if this is TMI

obviously hes joking around but he will go on for like 5 minutes and it really grosses me and he knows it and continues...lol

he will pull his shorts or sweat pants all the way up with the band practically around his chest and arch his back a little like an old man and talk in this weird old man voice but the gross part is that his balls and all his stuff are all outlined through the sweats and he really looks like an old man at the gym. i tell him if he continues ill never have sex with him again. he continues and pretends the 'old man' is hitting on me

I can see why that is both funny and gross!

Whenever DH uses the sponge (not often), he always leaves it sitting in the sink and he doesn't wring it out ... so HOURS later there's still this wet, slimy sponge sitting in the sink and it makes me want to PUKE.

DH is actually a neat-freak, with one exception:

DH clips his toenails in the living room, and just leaves them ON THE FLOOR. I always have to vacuum them up, eww.

I yell at him when he does this because I find it atrocious!

Instead of clipping his toenails... he will rip them off with his fingers. And sometiems he rips them too short an bleeds. UGH! I get soooo grossed out when he does this and I yell at him!! haha!! I've even given him toenail clippers...but that does nothing, he still prefers to rip them! So gross!!

Edit to add....
He also tends to leave his hairs in the sink... from when he shaves!!
OH AND now his new thing is not putting the toilet seat down. We've lived together for over 4 years... and I had him trained sooo well to do that... and then we moved and it went to sh!t. I have to retrain him again!!

What really irks me (because I always end up stepping in it with socks on) is that he doesn't dry himself off when he steps out of the shower. He seems to avoid the bathmat completely then proceeds to drip everywhere from the bathroom to the bedroom before he gets dressed....and does he ever clean it up? No! ugh...it must be a genetic thing because my SIL does the same thing!

Also...he tends to forget everything. I can tell him we have to do something like 3 times, and unless he puts it in the calendar on his phone (he is attached to his damn Blackberry) he won't remember. He favorite line was, 'did you send me a meeting request?' Um, really? (he has gotten slightly better with that though in the last few months.....thank god. Will continue on training him lol)

Farts incessantly. I mean all the effing time. But god forbid if I ever let one slip.

And doesn't flush the toilet!! And doesn't put his cigarettes out completely and somehow the smoke always makes a beeline for my face.

I could write a book!

OMG~I got the chills reading this!! I can almost FEEL the pain.

Hmm... where do I start?

He hangs his towel over the shower door so I have to move it to take a shower.

He leaves dirty dishes in the sink and never cleans the table.

He wears jeans once and puts them in the laundry.

He does this thing when he has to clear his nose, basically dislocates his nose that makes my skin crawl. I can hear his nose move. His mom does it too and he looks just like her. I always tell him.. get a tissue and blow your nose. I think he should see a doctor. Its not normal.

He doesn't clean the toothpaste, soap, etc out of the sink... it always has a white film on it.

He walks through my house with his dirty disgusting work boots on.

He takes boats for people that he is working on and LOADS my yard with them. I had 7 boats in my yard this winter. I feel like a horrible neighbor.


Haha, I make DH sound terrible... but all the annoying things balance all his wonderful things. And I am sure I do plenty that annoys him. Adjusting to living with a boy sure is tough.

OK I bite my finger nails and its a disgusting habit.. but your TOE NAILS?? What?
